Eyes on the streets

Sylvia Forsythe, Tena Lundquist Faust, Marge Lundquist, and Laura Whalen (pictured, from left) gathered for an evening at Magpies & Peacocks benefiting Freed People, an organization working to end human trafficking. Eyes on the Streets: A Freed People Event was chaired by Lundquist Faust and featured speakers from law enforcement and Freed People leadership who talked about their efforts to rescue adults and children from trafficking situations with the use of private agents. Freed People partners with law enforcement and community leaders to rescue people in the community, and then provides survivor support including safe housing, medical attention and counseling, and life-skills training.
