Wilchester Elementary School held its biennial school auction at The Ballroom at Bayou Place located in the theater district in downtown Houston. Bayou City Lights, chaired by Jennifer Beitler, Rebekah James, Rachel Manning, Leah Shiels, and Jennifer Weinstock, raised a record-breaking $767,000 for Wilchester's all-school special programs, staff positions, and more. Parents and community members enjoyed live entertainment, a live auction hosted by Wendy Lambert, and ended the night with dancing and fun, all under the night lights of the Bayou City.
