Challenger games

Another incredible season of Challenger Baseball has wrapped up. Pictured (back row, from left) are Lauren Wiginton, Dylan Alexander, Emily Wiginton, Rohan Simpson; (front, holding sign) Bella Kim. Challenger, a division of West University Little League, provides boys and girls aged 5-22 with physical and mental challenges the opportunity to play baseball, regardless of their limitations. The program gives every child a chance to participate in a structured athletic setting while fostering meaningful and inclusive experiences. Over the years, Challenger has grown tremendously, with many young athletes and volunteers joining year after year. The season traditionally wraps up on the final Sunday with a celebration for players and their families, featuring games, a fantastic DJ, a former Challenger player, and a meal donated by longtime Challenger supporter Johnny Carrabba.
