Scott and Sarah Barrett (pictured) chaired the Houston Classical Charter School's 3rd Annual Foundational Dinner at the Corinthian Houston. The sold-out event welcomed 280 supporters and raised $1,850,000 for tuition-free education for pre-kindergarten through 8th-grade students in underserved areas. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, four-course meal, raffle, and live auction led by Johnny Bravo. In addition, supporters heard from Deyvis Salazar, founder and CEO of Houston Classical Charter School, about the mission and success of the school. After Salazar’s remarks, a Houston Classical student, who was named Scholar of the Year, and a parent whose child is thriving at the school, both talked about their experiences.
