Sisters Avery and Brock Looser (pictured, from left) made their London stage debut with a new play, too much of water. Written by Brock, directed by Avery, and produced by BraveMouse for ShakeFest with Camden Fringe at The Old Red Lion Theatre, too much of water reimagines the story of Hamlet from Ophelia’s point of view, exploring women’s mental health. The sibling team began their acting days while students at The Kinkaid School and Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) and now live and work in London. The play is the theatrical debut of BraveMouse, a women-led media company founded by Avery. Both sisters attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where Brock studied drama and Avery pursued film and television. Avery recently worked as assistant director to Wes Anderson on The Phoenician Scheme, and Brock, an actor, writer, and recent London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art MFA graduate most recently appeared in Orpheus Descending by Tennessee Williams at The Cockpit Theatre.
