Lucky, age 7

Hello neighbors! I’m Lucky. You’ve probably seen me out and about – trotting happily down the street, tail wagging, because I pretty much know and like every dog in the neighborhood. I have a special job – I’m my human’s therapy dog, which means I help her feel calm and happy just by being by her side. I tag along for just about everything – walks, errands, and anywhere else my human goes. Long walks are my favorite, especially if we take a new route with fresh smells. And if you’ve ever seen me riding in a car, you know I’m in heaven – wind in my fur, ears flapping, pure joy. I also have a soft spot for baths – some dogs run and hide, but not me! There’s nothing better than getting squeaky clean. Now, I have to confess… I’ll eat anything. Yes, anything. Sometimes this means an extra trip to the vet, but I regret nothing. So, if you spot me on a neighborhood adventure, please say hi. I’ll be the one grinning like we’ve been friends forever – because here in our community, that’s exactly how it feels.
