The Spring Branch Memorial Library celebrates 50 years of serving the community. Neighbors are invited to gather at the library at 950 Corbindale Rd. for an open house on Nov. 8, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The event will feature musical performances, crafts for people of all ages, refreshments, and a historical photo exhibit. Over the years, the library staff has adapted to the changing needs of the community and continues to promote literacy, inclusivity, and access to reliable information. Like many in the area, Susan Forney and her family have enjoyed the library for decades. Four generations of the Forney family have gathered at the library to share the fun of learning.
