David and Mary Entrekin and Steve and Rebecca Joest attended the annual Bicycle Ball benefiting CYCLE (Changing Young Children’s Lives through Education). The nonprofit works to improve literacy among second-grade students in Title 1 schools by rewarding students for academic progress. This year’s Bicycle Ball was held at the Omni Hotel and marked the 200,000th bicycle giveaway. Chaired by Maria Quinones and CYCLE board members, the Bicycle Ball honored the legacy of founder David Moore and the achievements of the Earn-A-Bike program. Funds raised will support an additional 3,500 students in their “Read-to-Ride” program in 2026. Guests enjoyed an evening of heartwarming stories, a tribute to David Moore, and a silent auction before hitting the dance floor to celebrate.
