Roadrunners

Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association Roadrunners with Rummel Creek Elementary fourth-grade teachers Renee Rixie and Kendall Dupre.

The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association Roadrunners opened their sophomore tackle division football season with a strong start, but players say the real highlight has been the encouragement from their teachers. Rummel Creek Elementary fourth-grade teachers Renee Rixie and Kendall Dupre (pictured, back row, from left) attended a recent game, cheering on their students from the sidelines. Their presence brought an extra boost of motivation for the boys. Pictured are Roadrunner players (from left) Jack Rogers, Luke Yankowski, Tyler Buster, Marshall Cobbs, Gabriel De La Cerda, Hudson Canfield, Reid Beller, Behr Hagendorf, Bryce Rudolph, Barrett Fogle, CJ Nault, Wyatt Gentry, Fynn Gregersen, and Griffin Ottis. Team coaches are Jason Rogers, Todd Buster, Garret Hagendorf, Chris Nault, Todd Fogle, and John Beller.
