Lucky Lady and Penny Lou, ages 11 and 9

Our names are Lucky Lady (right) and Penny Lou (left), and we love life in West University Place. We enjoy daily walks and seeing our friendly neighbors. Give us a task, and it is done: Retrieving the tennis ball and treats? 100 percent. Patrolling pesky squirrels? We are on it! Comforting our pack? Always. We guard our house 24/7! During the day, we spend time eating, napping, following our owners around the house, or catching a Netflix series together. When they depart for work/school, we soothe ourselves by watching TV. Our favorite shows include Lassie, nature shows, and the Golf Channel (to calm us). When we hear our family’s cars pulling into the driveway, we wait by the door to greet them with joy (and a good lick or two). We bark when we are hungry or need to go outside, or sometimes to show our overprotective tendencies. Our advice: Wag more and bark less!
