Holiday treats for a cause

Lucy Frederick, Lilly Tunitsky, Max Tunitsky, and Gavin Frederick (pictured, from left) hosted a “frozen” hot chocolate stand to raise money for the Houston Food Bank. In the midst of the balmy holiday-season weather, the Frederick and Tunitsky children set up the stand, served hot chocolate, and enjoyed hosting friends and neighbors. They even recruited Bellaire Mayor Gus Pappas to stop by and participate. At the end of the two-hour event, the kids raised more than $500 to donate to the Houston Food Bank. The event was such a success that they are already looking forward to a repeat fundraiser next year.
