Held at The Hilton Americas-Houston, Making Waves for a Better Home raised $1.7 million to support senior care and community programming. Chaired by Barb Bratter, Karen and Buster Freedman, and Merav and Daniel Sternthal, the underwater fantasy-themed event featured a live auction and magic show from award-winning magician Ben Jackson. Barbara and Barry Lewis and Sharon and Bradley Rauch received this year’s Joyce Proler Schechter Spirit of Life Award for their dedication to Seven Acres. The award was presented by Leslie Karpas, daughter of Joyce Proler Schechter.
