When first-time grandfather Stan “Pappy” Ehrenkranz was asked to babysit his not-quite-1-month-old granddaughter Arden Evans, he said “yes” in a heartbeat to daughter Jenny and husband Collin Evans. Things were uneventful, which made “Pappy” a little fidgety. So, Pappy Stan had nothing better to do than to work on a selfie response when the inevitable “How are things going?” text came. When the question came and the picture was sent, Jenny’s reply was “Really?” No. Not really. If Stan is able to keep his babysitting job, Arden will soon give him plenty to do.
