Horn Elementary is participating in this year’s 31st annual Houston Art Car Parade event, April 12-15. Students have been taking water bottles and cutting them into sculptures to attach to art teacher Debbie Guelzow’s car for the parade on April 14. The project is inspired by artist Carol Simon’s installation “First Ward is Blooming.” The Art Car Club meets every week to work on the project.
