There’s a new principal at Briargrove Elementary School, native Houstonian Thayer Hutcheson (pictured, with her 2-year-old twin daughters Eleanor and Alison). Thayer graduated from Lamar High School, Rhodes College and Rice University. She was a biology and AP psychology teacher at Westside High School and dean of instruction at Worthing High School. She also served as Magnet Academy principal at Heights High School.
