Mardi Gras Duchesses

Friends since their days at St. Francis Episcopal Day School, (from left) Belle Brennan and Abigail Roberts were both presented as duchesses as part of the royal court at the Knights of Momus Coronation Ball and reception at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston. 

Close friends since their days at St. Francis Episcopal Day School, Abigail Roberts and Belle Brennan were both presented as duchesses as part of the royal court at the Knights of Momus Coronation Ball and reception at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston. Abigail was escorted by Caid Pickle, both Episcopal High School grads, and Belle, a St. Agnes Academy grad, was escorted by Conyers Coupland, who attends graduate school at Auburn University. Abigail is a junior at Texas A&M University and is president of her chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta and, coincidentally, Belle, a junior at Auburn, is president of her chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
