Editor's Note - March 2016

I love March, and not just because it’s my birthday month. As empty nesters, Michael and I enjoy our own version of “Spring Break.” Our new tradition is happy hour in the rodeo Wine Garden. This year, we’re also going to the horse show, after meeting Buzz residents passionate about it – see Rodeo Horsepitality. Our first family ski trip was long ago over Spring Break (now, our youngest son would rather spend Spring Break in Cabo with friends – can’t imagine why). But our annual holiday ski trip to Telluride is the one family trip that both young-adult sons love. If you have been on the fence about a family ski trip, read this month’s Travel Buzz, and chances are you will start a tradition of your own. In less than a year, the Super Bowl will be in Houston.
