The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Children’s Art Project teamed up with The Galleria to put on its largest event of the year to recognize the creative achievements of young cancer patients. Each patient who created artwork for the collection received an award onstage. Then, the children and more than 275 guests enjoyed lunch, catered by A Fare Extraordinaire, and a fashion show, courtesy of The Galleria, Neiman Marcus, Simon Lookbook Live and Cadillac. Guests listened to a speech by MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Dr. Steven Waguespack. All proceeds benefitted the art project.
