Jill Patir and Pamela Fagan Hutchins (pictured, from left) starred in a performance of Listen to Your Mother, a series of live readings on stage in 32 cities nationwide. It takes place in the two weeks leading up to Mother’s Day. Proceeds from ticket sales benefitted the Julie Rogers Gift of Life Program, which provides free mammograms and prostate screenings. The show took place at the historic Jefferson Theater in Beaumont. Both Pamela and Jill read original pieces they had written about being a mother and about their own mothers.
