The St. Thomas High School rocketry team, including sophomores (pictured, from left) Tristan Shahin, Michael Blanchard, Harris Rosenblad, Joshua Harris, Emery Jakab, Matthew Leibold and Jackson Morris and led by coach Dr. Ed Marintsch (second from left), is one of 101 teams around the country that qualified for Nationals in the Team America Rocketry Challenge in Virginia. To qualify, the boys had to get their rocket as close as 825 feet as possible and get from liftoff to landing in 48-50 seconds.
