Family fishing trip

With a last name like Bass, a love of fishing has got to run in the family. The Bass family, along with their English Cocker Spaniel, Jake, relaxed on a boat in Port Mansfield Memorial Day weekend. Margaret, Gardner, Sarah, John (from left) and Ellen Bass spent the day fishing and enjoying time on the beach, waking up at 5 in the morning and coming home late in the afternoon. The family spends a lot of time together fishing in the Laguna Madre. The Bass family has been traveling to this small town for over 20 years. With lots of redfish, trout and the occasional flounder to catch, this spot brings lots of healthy competition and great meals to the family table.
