Second Baptist School eighth-grade girls basketball team

The Second Baptist School eighth-grade girls basketball team (pictured) won the Houston Junior Preparatory Conference championship. Led by head coach Ceci Torn and assistant coach Eric Johnson, the Eagles battled the St. John’s School Mavericks in a tough championship game, and won the title with a final score of 24-20. During the regular season, the eighth-grade Eagles had an overall middle school record of 39-2 and were undefeated in their conference.
