When they arrived at the games at North Carolina A&T State University, the athletes were among 13,000 others from all over the country. Twenty-seven FPR Track athletes advanced to the Junior Olympics, and seven went on to become All-Americans. The winners are (top row, from left) Jamie Rivera, Marlene Soto, Olivia Hirst, Ola Jalal, Jasmine Williams, Paris Strange, Margon McCardell and David Kalwahli; (bottom row, from left) Kristina Thompson, Divine Ozzoma, Sarah Akpan, Nate Grant, Kamal Jalal, Christian Bell, Saul Cano, Enmanuel Galdino, Isabel Jakobsen, Sophia Akpan and Miya Greer.
