The 2014 Bellaire Little League spring season is underway. Opening ceremonies took place on March 1. In a team-scrimmage game, Bellaire Bulldog player Daniel Nayvelt (pictured, at right) just barely beats teammate Connor Feng (left) to the base. The Bulldogs compete in the Texas division for 7 and 8 year olds and hope to earn a spot in the Texas Division Championship in May. The season will wrap in late spring with the annual gala fundraiser on April 26 at Wildcat Golf Club, 12000 Almeda Road. All proceeds from the event will benefit the league.
