State baseball champs

The Post Oak Little League (POLL) 10U All Star team (pictured) won the Texas East State Championship. The team won the Texas East District 16 and Section 3 championships to earn a spot in the state-championship game in Tyler. This was the POLL 10U All Star team’s first championship. The 11U team won the same title in 2008. Manager David Rook credits teamwork for the boys’ success. “It was constant supporting teammates and putting arms around a teammate that made an error or had a poor at-bat,” Rook said.
