This past May we said a heartfelt goodbye to the Robert M. Beren Academy class of 2014. While they may be off to bigger and brighter futures, a few of the now Beren alumni have taken a moment to share some words of wisdom with the remaining high school students.
"Don't be afraid to get involved. Being an active participant at your school is a great way to make friends and a real difference in your community.” -Sara Shkedy. Stern College for Women Honors
“Cherish every moment of your four years in high school. While they may seem frustrating at times, the lessons and life skills that you will learn are unforgettable.” -Sam Gelman. Yeshiva University Honors
“Read as much as possible. Anything from books to magazines and newspapers will do. The skills and vocabulary that you will gain will help you go a long way in your adventures through standardized testing and in college.” -Yael Ghelman, Stern College for Women Honors
These seniors, and the rest of the senior class, made a lasting impact on all of us at Beren. Now, with these last few remarks, their presence will forever be remembered at the Robert M. Beren Academy.
