Dori and Dan Marzuola enjoyed the beautiful scenery in L’Auberge de Sedona on Oak Creek in the heart of Red Rock country.

The weather was perfect in Sedona, Ariz., while Dori and Dan Marzuola enjoyed L’Auberge de Sedona on Oak Creek and in the heart of Red Rock country. Hikes on Devil’s Bridge and Chuckwagon Trail, Cathedral Rock Trail and Little Horse Trail in Coconino National Forest built up their metabolism for a feast in Vegas. Due to federal-government shutdowns they were not able to see the Palatki Ruins or Montezuma Castle, but they drove through the mountains and snow, absorbing four hours of beautiful scenery. A little copper mining ghost town, Jerome, where Husband’s Alley (former red light district) used to be a hotspot, was a sightseeing stop on the way to Vegas.
