The Spirit of Spring Luncheon raised $250,000 for programs that benefit the healing of child victims of sexual abuse. Event chairs Ericka Bagwell, Diane Caplan and Ursaline Hamilton and underwriting chairs Rhonda and Michael Graff applauded Neiman Marcus’ fashion show by Lafayette 148 and speaker Rachel Thomas, a survivor of human trafficking who spoke of her journey. Her message of how we as a community can better protect our children was inspiring.

Although Sharon Brier grew up in the Rio Grande Valley she left as soon as she could and found herself immersed in all that Houston has to offer.
