Cynthia Mills didn’t want a big deal made out of her milestone birthday, but her Mah Jongg friends weren’t going to let it pass unnoticed. Connie Reddy hosted the regular Tuesday game, but in honor of Cynthia’s love of poodles, each gal got a poodle-appliqued bag (with goodies) to resemble Sloan, Cynthia’s white standard poodle. When Randi Patel arrived from Seattle in time for champagne and a poodle cake supplied by Frances Rubin, it was the icing on the party.
