The tunes of Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5 and the Supremes will grab at your soul when you enter the Magic of Motown gala April 8. Presented by the Lester and Sue Smith Foundation, it will benefit the Lung Institute at Baylor College of Medicine, where the mantra of Dr. David Sugarbaker, lung-disease expert, is Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. Co-chairs Carol Sawyer and Robin Young-Ellis heard it through the grapevine that you can buy tickets at Partnership@bcm.edu or 713-798-5460. The hip music fest is at Revention Music Center downtown.
