Since art collectors Mady and Ken Kades have journeyed to 71 countries, Mady’s friends threw her a travel-oriented, happy-hour party to celebrate her 70th milestone. A map tablecloth and a globe sprouting plants and an artistic cake by Diane Gelman were decorations, along with a photo opp with Mona Lisa for the girls-only party at Sharon Maloney’s home. Guests won prizes for answering questions about Mady, and Mady’s packing tips were party favors. The next day Mady and Ken left to Asia with Dr. Neal Reisman, Leibe Ostrow Miller, and Tammie and Warren Simi, and, from Dallas, Kay Lane and Tom Hardeman.
