Yvonne Streit was inspired to write a book from personal experience. Everybody’s Got a Seed to Sow is about parenting, coping and helping kids and adults with special needs. Her experience comes from when she opened the Brookwood Community and became a volunteer with supportive friends Joan Bynum, Lucy Foyt, Bongie Anderson, Mary Peterson and Margaret Frazier, who continue to be her fan club. Come see Yvonne for the 9:30-11:30 a.m. book signings at Bering’s on Bissonnet Sept. 8 and Bering’s on Westheimer Sept. 15.
