When the rains poured, Clayton and Sheldon Erikson graciously moved the outdoor party indoors, where the 200 guests could mingle at the Katy Prairie Conservancy’s Prairie Bash 2015. Mary Gwen and Ben Hulsey and Claire and John Caudill were thrilled to stay dry. This year’s Prairie Bash honored The Garden Club of Houston, which shares a common bond with KPC to improve our city through horticulture and conservation of natural areas as well as education. Co-chairs Debbie and Chris Patton introduced a video highlighting the garden club’s many conservation efforts. The party ended just in time for Shel to watch the memorable Rockets vs. Los Angeles Clippers game.
