Wicked witches flocked to feather-hatted Sidney Faust and Cora Sue Mach’s 16th annual Halloween party at Sidney’s house. As 200 guests walked up to the door, a live skeleton greeted them to take a toy gift for the upcoming Texas Children’s Hospital holiday party Dec. 8 for sick children. A carriage in the front yard with Mr. and Mrs. Skeleton will transform into Mr. & Mrs. Claus for the holiday party at the hospital. De-frightful with spider necklaces and bird hats were Carol Sawyer, Nancy Strohmer, Diane Riley, Barbara Le Grange, Carol Lee Robertson, Ronada Davis, Carolyn Mann, Sally Yen, Carol Judge, Peg Austin and Leisa Holland Nelson. To-die-for Pappas-catered quesadillas and crab cakes were devoured.
