Danny and Robin Klaes went with a Houston group to visit Spain. At their first stop in Barcelona, they experienced visual and luxury  ecstasy at the Hotel des Arts, built for the Olympics. Frank Gehry’s iconic fish sculpture resides outside. A highlight in historical San Sebastián was a dinner in an old palace overlooking the ocean. The trip ended with a private dinner for a selective group in Gehry’s Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, which provided a visual and gastronomical feast before reality set in back in Houston.
