Most of the boys had never played paintball when they arrived for a birthday party to celebrate the 10th birthdays of Zac Gould, Derek Nguyen and Caleb Wendler, who are classmates at Hunters Creek Elementary. The moms, Gail Gould, Kim Dao and Laurie Wendler, gave the party for 20 guy pals at Tank’s Paintball in Katy. To prepare for the three-hour adventure the boys wore masks and padded vests over long-sleeved shirts and pants. They devoured pizza and birthday cake afterward. It was a colorful day.
