Symphony Ball chairs Bill King, Cheryl Boblitt, Brigitte Kalai, Fardia Abjani, Houston Symphony executive director and chief executive officer John Mangum and Jesse and Betty Tutor walked the red carpet at the 2023 Houston Symphony Ball: The Golden Age of Hollywood. Guests enjoyed a black-tie evening at the Post Oak Hotel with an old-Hollywood theme, including a symphony-inspired Walk of Fame and “celebrity sightings” of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. The evening honored Mary Lynn Marks, Hallie Vanderhider, and Revati Puranik, and raised more than $1.1 million to support Symphony education and community-engagement programs.
