Howling success

The DJ blasted music on Halloween at Joni and John Zavitsanos’ house as 100 feasted on gumbo, burgers and hot dogs. Sons Socs and D.Z. were there, along with neighbors Neil, Oxana and Danielle Manning, Anthony Tarantino, Paul, Benjamin and Toby Finnet, Linda and Steve and Hannah Schweitzer, Chris, Reese, Bryce and Kylie Baker, Anne and Burt Adkins, Sylvia Campbell, Jana and Stuart Kusin, Mary and Jim Gosnell, Marnie, Nick, Alexandra, Nicolas, Eva Luna, and Juan Pablo Medina and Hugh Wilson. Staci, Quang and Sophie Henderson wore circus costumes. Down the street a fire pit glowed at Bert and Felicia Baker’s. Dahlgren Baker’s sweet-potato pound cake and toasted marshmallow ice cream served with Elaine and David Davenport’s Morgue-aritas with eyeballs bewitched all.
