Wildly in love

When Nick Altman and Jennifer Buenik met three years ago for drinks on a blind date, which led to dinner, they had no idea it would later lead to another passion. They and besties Rainey and Kirby Janke took a couples trip to Zimbabwe (and Paris) for Nick to share his love of Africa. On a romantic secluded island in Zimbabwe on the Zambezi River, there was a table with a white tablecloth set up with desserts, candles and champagne. As the sun was setting, Nick, on one knee, asked Jennifer to spend the rest of his life with him. They later went on to South Africa for a hunting safari. The parents of the couple, Donna and George Buenik Jr., CarolAnn (Altman) and Bill Simmons and Mickey Altman, are looking forward to a spring 2015 wedding. The hunt is over.

The champagne bubbled, and the diamond sparkled when Nick Altman proposed to Jennifer Buenik on a remote island in Zimbabwe.
