Christmas and Chanukah traditions were part of the celebration at Nancy and Joe Smith’s Christmas Day open house. They had Jewish friends say the blessings over the Chanukah candles as neighbors stopped in for well wishes and tamales. New neighbor Adams Braley (significant other Alicia Henson wasn’t in town yet) had just moved in a few days before. Adams went to Memorial High School (Class of 2008) and likes to bird hunt with his 5-year-old yellow Lab, Remi. Others there who walked over were Mark and Nancy Reichek, Meg and Bob Guldner and family, Jim and Mary Gosnell, and Sarah and Ron Pruett.
