10 years later
The Emery/Weiner School’s “Pioneer Class” – the first graduating class, the class of 2005 – had its 10-year reunion this spring. They kicked off the reunion with cocktails at Ciao Bello on Saturday night. Then they returned to campus on Sunday morning, along with the classes of ’06, ’07 and ’08, for brunch. Activities Sunday started with bagels and coffee, then a recreation of ma’amad, a daily morning program at Emery that typically includes a student, teacher or alum presentation of some kind. There were also campus tours with current student ambassadors and, then, grilled hot dogs, beer and hanging out outside.
