Eighty-nine Spring Branch Independent School District seniors, including Anna Whitmire, a Stratford High School grad, (pictured, receiving the Wells Fargo Scholarship from Dmel Tatum, 2014-15 president of the SBISD Council of PTAs) received a total of $118,000 in scholarships at the Spring Branch Education Foundation 2015 Bright Stars of SBISD, Celebrating Academic Excellence awards program at The Westin Houston in Memorial City. The event, hosted by SBEF and chaired by Pam Goodson, honored scholarship recipients as well as teachers and principals of the year for 2014-15.
