Mowers

Wielding a weed trimmer and pushing a mower, Rabbi Roy Walter, rabbi emeritus of Congregation Emanu El, led a team for the first-ever “Mow for M.O.W.” clients day. Organized by Daniel Levin, volunteers mowed, weeded, raked and blew the yards of Meals on Wheels clients. The project falls under Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s Chore Corps, and the project was part of Congregation Emanu El’s 75th anniversary Social Action Program. Pictured are (from left) mowers Noah Friesen, Kyle Friesen, Sammy Robbins, Tyler Pollock, Adam Pollock, Mitchell Robbins, Lewis Kalmans, Talia Kalmans, Mickie May Levin, (kneeling) Daniel Levin and Todd Slobin
