I found my interest in photography when I was five when I got my first camera, and I have been taking photos ever since. In the more recent years I started writing, and doing writing competitions and going to writing programs at colleges to help me with both creative writing, and regular school related writing prompts. I look forward to writing for the School Buzz because it will give me a chance to work on my writing, and allows me to share my photos with a wider community. After school I manage the Duchesne Chargers Field Hockey and Basketball teams, and later this year I will be doing some work backstage for our all school musical. When I’m not managing sports I’m probably reading, taking photos, or at voice lessons. A fun fact is about me is that I love to make people laugh, and make sure no one is ever uncomfortable no matter the situation. The best thing about living in Houston is how diverse we are, and no matter what part of time you’re in there is always something new to indulge in. Being at an all-girl private school is that people expect us to not be good at anything, but the amount of work put in by our students whether it be sports or academics we push ourselves to do better year by year.
