School Buzz writer

I began to realize during my sixth grade English class that I could do more than just music and art. I could write. One short story with poor illustrations slapped together in a blank, white book later, my writing became recognized . . . by myself and my English teacher. I've been writing ever since and have enjoyed every minute of making up false realities and describing the events that some enjoy reliving, and that others didn't have the chance of seeing themselves. My hope for participating in School Buzz is that my skills will improve as well as being able to work with others to bring the reader a story or visuals that inspire and bring new perspectives. I consider myself a creative person, and another way to release this energy is through painting, drawing, music, and piano. Otherwise, making others laugh is, to me, one of the best feelings in the world, so my jokes are inescapable. Psychology plays a lot into my interests as well. Growing up and living in Houston my entire life has influenced me, especially since it is one of the most diverse cities and, may I say, quite creative in ways. To me, the Houston Graffiti Building and Graffiti Park are some great examples of this. I have attended Second Baptist School my entire life. The classmates and teachers are the nicest they could possibly be and quite accepting of new people. There is a wide range of personalities, resembling Houston itself.
