My name is Amin, and I am a junior attending Lamar High School. While both my parents were born and raised in Palestine, I have spent my entire life in the Houston area. I grew up watching every sport that was available on my tiny cable TV. From basketball to NASCAR, I simply was obsessed with the thrill, competition, and personalities that sports had to offer. Throughout high school, I have developed a strong passion for sports-writing and was inspired by the creativity of many journalists such as Shea Serrano, Kevin O’ Connor, and Aaron Wilson. Hopefully through hard-work and motivation, I will be able to accomplish my dream to be a sports personality.
