Emily Xie

I’m Emily, and I love cooking, cards, and being around people! I’ve also developed a love for writing, and it wasn’t until I started consistently journaling that I discovered my passion for it. As a self-aware two-faced Gemini, a part of me loves expressing myself through speech, with loud banter and laughter, while the other half prefers a piece of paper and taking the time to make words paint a story in a way speech can’t. Just this summer, I moved to Houston, where I now attend St. John’s School. I’m looking forward to building my journalism toolbox, capturing special moments, and sharing them with you!
