School life can get a bit stressful. So, be it a sport or an art, everyone has their outlet. My outlet is a mix of photography, videography, and roller derby. As Julia at school and Grim (my roller derby pseudonym) on the weekends, life can get a bit hectic, but through and through photography has kept me sane. Although I’m not a native Texan, having been born and raised in California, Houston, in its diversity, has served me well. This year, I’ll have the honor of sharing the side of DeBakey that people don’t usually see, and I’m excited to be doing it with the Buzz.
