Hi there! I’m Marin, a current junior at Duchesne, and a member of School Buzz! For the past 16 years, I’ve loved living in Houston and would not have developed such an affinity for storytelling had I not grown up surrounded by a variety of vibrant people, experiences, and cultures. Writing has always been my passion, beginning when I joined a writer’s workshop in elementary school. Now, as a current junior and nearing the end of high school, writing for School Buzz feels like the first step into the journalism career I hope to pursue, while becoming a more involved member of the Houston community. When I’m not writing, you can find me reading, going to concerts, spending time with my friends, or at the movie theater!
