The French Martini

FRENCH MARTINI Cocktail historians credit the French Martini for helping to kick off the flavored-martini craze of the ’90s. New York City’s famous French brasserie, Balthazar, may have introduced the pretty pink drink, whose "French" moniker stems from the use of Chambord, a raspberry-and-blackberry liqueur produced in the Loire Valley.
This gorgeous, sophisticated, pink drink is ideal for someone who doesn't want anything too intense.
Ingredients:
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce Chambord black raspberry liqueur
1 ounce pineapple juice
Orange peel twist
